Grok is xAI’s assistant — available in the Grok apps, on the web, inside X, and (on supported vehicles) in Tesla. This guide is for people who want it working in real life this week: phone, car, kitchen counter — not a research paper.

B. Already pay for X Premium / Premium+
Grok is often bundled in-app on X. Use that if you live in the feed; use the standalone Grok app if you want voice, longer sessions, and fewer timeline distractions.
C. SuperGrok / Heavy (paid Grok plans)

What not to trust it with (day one)

- Anything that must work offline (power outage, dead cell service).
- Cloud-only smart home critical path (door locks / safety) with no physical backup.
- Exact prices, medical dosages, or “guaranteed” product compatibility — always confirm primary sources.
